css_animation=&#8221;none&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1738322628890{background-color: #E5E3DC !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1737623899805{margin-right: 3% !important;margin-left: 3% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Rio Prialunga<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Rio Prialunga is undoubtedly the most impressive and technical canyon in Liguria, its descent offers verticality, adrenaline and fun.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> A few kilometers from the sea in the Beigua mountains we find a surprising route, a small corner of Switzerland but with a sea view.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The canyon is in fact carved into the serpentine, here so smooth and compact that it seems granite and the beautiful hanging basins that we find halfway along the route make us think of the famous Swiss streams.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The sculpted walls and the emerald green basins create a unique atmosphere.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Practicable from April, the descent is perfect during the spring and autumn months.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">In the summer months however the water level drops significantly and the river bed is dry in various areas.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Rio Prialunga is a challenging route from both a sporting and technical point of view.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The access path requires good physical condition and the presence of numerous rope descents and suspended basins recommend the activity to those with a minimum of previous experience with rope maneuvers.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">A route reserved for the most athletic and daring who will spend an extraordinary day surrounded by nature.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> The meeting point is in the parking lot of the La Fonda farmhouse where we leave the cars and the material for the activity is distributed.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">From here we begin the climb first through the farm&#8217;s cultivated fields then we follow a mule track that climbs for a long stretch through the chestnut woods. The most spectacular and exciting part is definitely the central one, where the suspended pools and the highest descents are located. But the 330 meters of altitude difference are evenly distributed along the route and the waterfalls follow one another until the end.
