De witte rotsen van de beekbedding en het heldere water cre\u00ebren <strong>een unieke sfeer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>De afdaling is praktisch vanaf april en perfect tijdens de lente- en herfstmaanden. In de zomermaanden daalt het waterpeil echter aanzienlijk en staat de beekbedding op verschillende plaatsen droog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>De <a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Serra_(torrente)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Serra_(torrente)\">Torrente Serra<\/a> is ideaal voor <strong>een activiteit van een halve dag<\/strong>, twee leuke uren midden in de natuur. Het optionele karakter van alle hindernissen en de ontspannende omgeving die wordt doorkruist, maken de route bijzonder geschikt voor degenen die de<strong> canyoning <\/strong>of voor grote groepen, zoals vrijgezellenfeesten, waar we vaak meer of minder sportieve, meer of minder angstige mensen aantreffen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>Vanaf het ontmoetingspunt rijden we langs de Serra-vallei en in ongeveer tien minuten bereiken we de lage parkeerplaats, waar het materiaal wordt uitgedeeld. Hier laten we enkele auto&#8217;s achter met droge kleren en handdoeken; met de anderen gaan we een paar kilometer omhoog naar de hoge parkeerplaats.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>Het is ook mogelijk om naar de start te lopen met een gemakkelijke wandeling van een half uur. Vanaf de hoge parkeerplaats bereiken we de bedding van de Serra in tien minuten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>Voordat je aan de afdaling begint, krijg je alle nodige informatie over de <strong>veiligheid<\/strong> en de <strong>voortgang<\/strong> in de rivier. Als we de aflopende rivierbedding volgen, komen we bij een reeks kleine watervallen, waar we tussen grote rotsblokken doorlopen tot we bij de eerste korte touwabseil komen. De route bestaat uit vijf rope abseils, allemaal heel eenvoudig, perfect om de groep met de techniek te laten beginnen en vertrouwen en beheersing van de manoeuvre te krijgen. Langs de loop van de Serra zijn er een paar duiken van verschillende hoogtes, maar <strong>nooit verplicht<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Torrente Serra, een wilde omgeving in het hart van Versilia<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/p>\n<p>De afdaling van de Serra torrent vindt plaats in een wilde maar aangenaam ontspannende omgeving. Het meest karakteristieke en spectaculaire deel is zeker het centrale deel, waar we de beroemde <strong>Malbacco Pool<\/strong> vinden met zijn <strong>indrukwekkende glijbaan<\/strong>: de waterval heeft een verticale en smalle glijbaan uitgeslepen die eindigt in een groot helder zwembad. Hier kun je jezelf van de 12 meter lange rodelbaan laten glijden voor een spannende en adrenalinekick, of je kunt met een touw naar beneden. Vanuit deze poel komen we in het smalste deel van de stroom, met een korte grottendoorgang.
